The submersible sewage pump is a closed pump. The pump body and the motor are integrated. Before the product leaves the factory, our company must perform rigorous testing to ensure that the product leaves the factory without defects. As for the burning of the motor, the common reasons are as follows:
1. Pump installation problem.
The installation worker did not lower the pump through the pull ring on the pump body, but put the pump into the water by pulling the cable. Because the submersible sewage pump is completely closed, if the cable is pulled, the seal at the cable will be damaged, causing water to enter the pump body and causing the motor to burn;
2. Excessive particles of liquid impurities, fibers, and large debris.
Because the submersible sewage pump pumps sewage, it cannot transport sludge and debris. Because sludge and sundries will block the pump body and cause motor burning;
3. The pump is idling.
Because the submersible sewage pump is cooled by liquid, if the liquid level in the pool is lower than 2/3 of the pump body, the motor will be burned because the temperature of the pump body is too high;
4. Overcurrent.
If the pump is in use, the overcurrent will cause the pump to burn the motor. Common overcurrent conditions are: the actual head of the pump is much larger or smaller than the selected model, the liquid concentration is too large, and the three-phase current is unbalanced.
The above is the common situation that the submersible sewage pump burns the motor. The specific situation can be ruled out according to the use of the pump.
